Zelig Weiss files plans for 40-unit resi building in Bed-Stuy

Zelig Weiss of Riverside Developers, on March 15, filed a permit application for construction of a 40-unit, 38,905-square-foot building at 51 Franklin Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. According to the plans, there will be two towers occupying the same zoning and tax lot at the development site.

There have been 38 new building plans, including these, filed in the Bed-Stuy neighborhood of Brooklyn in the previous 12 months.

The plans call for the construction of a 70-foot-tall, seven-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00698051. The development site spans one tax lot.

The project is described in the filing as: Proposed seven-story residential project as per plans. A total of two towers to be proposed on subject zoning tax lot. Filing for 421a foundation approval.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have five dwelling units. Floors two through six will each have six dwelling units per floor, while the seventh floor will have five dwelling units. The cellar will have parking space.
