Urban Pathways files plans for 79-unit affordable housing building in Morrisania
Urban Pathways, on June 10, filed a permit application for construction of a 79-unit, 51,687-square-foot residential building at 1405 Boston Road in Morrisania, the Bronx. Frederick Shack, CEO of the company, filed the plans.
There have been 11 new building plans, including these, filed in the neighborhood in the previous 12 months.
The plans call for the construction of a 60-foot-tall, seven-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00727101.
The development site spans two tax lots. The lot has a width of 90 feet.
The project is described in the filing as: proposed seven-story new affordable housing building application.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have two dwelling units, community space, and offices. The rest of the dwelling units will span the upper floors.
The architect listed is Monica Lopez Architect, LLC.
The property was acquired with two other properties for $2.5 million on June 1, 2020.
