United Construction & Development Group files plans for two buildings with a combined 263 units in Flushing
Chris Jiashu Xu’s United Construction & Development Group United Construction & Development Group, on May 13, filed two permit applications for construction of a 141-unit, 227,808-square-foot mixed-use building at 39-18 Janet Place and a 122-unit, 189,653-square-foot mixed-use building at 39-08 Janet Place in Flushing, Queens.
Earlier this year, the developer filed a permit application for construction of a 43-unit, 36,774-square-foot mixed-use building at 37-04 34th Street in Long Island City, Queens. This month, the developer submitted a condominium plan for 120 residential units at and four commercial units at 33-71 Prince Street in Flushing, Queens.
There have been 60 new building plans, including these, filed in Flushing in the previous 12 months.
The first plans call for the construction of a 213-foot-tall, 15-story building at 39-18 Janet Place and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number Q00683002.
The development site spans three tax lots. The lot has a width of 229 feet.
The project is described in the filing as: to erect new 15-story multi family, mixed-use building.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a lobby, office space, and retail spaces. The second floor will have a food court. Floors two through six will have office space. The seventh floor will have a child’s playroom, fitness room, lounge, and 13 dwelling units. Floors eight through 15 will each have 16 dwelling units per floor.
