Simcha Ludmir files plans for 68-unit resi building in Claremont Village

Simcha Ludmir through the company Weeks Capital Associates LLC, on March 15, filed a permit application for construction of a 68-unit, 32,224-square-foot residential building at 1688 Weeks Avenue in Claremont Village, Bronx.

These are the third new building plans filed in the neighborhood in the previous 12 months. The plans call for the construction of the most dwelling units in the neighborhood over that period.

The plans call for the construction of a 83-foot-tall, eight-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00693416. The development site spans three tax lots.

The project is described in the filing as: proposed new eight-story, 68-unit residential building.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have five dwelling units. Floors two through eight will each have nine dwelling units per floor. The building will also have recreation space outside.

The architect listed is Boaz M. Golani Architect.

The property was acquired for $480,000 on July 11, 2006.
