Read Property Group files plans for 114-unit mixed-use building, most units in Rockaway Park in 10 years

Read Property Group, on March 1, filed a permit application for construction of a 114-unit, 130,955-square-foot mixed-use building at 120 Beach 116th Street in Rockaway Park, Queens. The plans were filed using Beach 116 Promenade LLC.

According to an analysis of new building plans filed with the NYC DOB, these plans called for the construction of the most dwelling units in the neighborhood in at least the previous 10 years.

The plans call for the construction of a 84-foot-tall, eight-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number Q00680356. The development site spans two tax lots.

The project is described in the filing as: proposed eight-story and cellar mixed-use building, 114 dwelling units.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have 13 dwelling units. Floors two through six will each have 15 dwelling units per floor, the seventh floor will have 14 dwelling units, and the eighth floor will have 12 dwelling units.
