Argo, Bsafal submit condo plan for 28 units in West Village
On March 31, Argo Real Estate and Bsafal submitted a condominium plan for 28 residential units and one commercial unit at 64 University Place in the West Village of Manhattan.
Bsafal, a subsidiary of Safal Constructions India Private Limited, is partnering with Mark Moskowitz’s Argo Real Estate for the project.
The condo plan, CD220127, does not have a sellout price listed with the New York State Attorney General. Mark Moskowitz and Ameesh Agarwal are listed as members.
The property was acquired for $30 million on June 27, 2019. A few months later, the developer paid David Issroff’s King Rock Capital $1.5 million for 3,000-square-feet of air rights from 70 University Place in November of 2019.
On March 31 of last year, the developers filed a permit application for construction of a 28-unit, 55,474-square-foot residential building at 64 University Place. Ameesh Agarwal, managing principal at Bsafal Inc., filled the plans.
According to the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a lobby, lounge, outdoor terrace, and non-commercial art gallery. Floors two through four will each have four dwelling units per floor, floors five through eight will each have three dwelling units per floor, the ninth floor will have two dwelling units, and floors 10 and 11 will each have one dwelling unit per floor. The cellar will have an exercise room, storage space for tenants, and laundry. The roof will have terraces.
