AGM Deco files plans for two buildings with a combined 101 units in Gowanus
AGM Deco, on May 4, filed two permit applications for the construction of a 67-unit, 47,914-square-foot mixed-use building at 224 3rd Avenue and a 34-unit, 27,535-square-foot residential building at 558 Sackett Street in Gowanus, Brooklyn. According to city records, the properties are owned by Gerald Abatemarco through the entity Abatemarco Realty Corp. AGM Deco is a facade engineering, manufacturing, and installation company.
There have been 39 new building plans, including these, filed in Gowanus in the previous 12 months.
The first plans call for the construction of a 99-foot-tall, nine-story building at 224 3rd Avenue and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00727869.
The development site spans one tax lot. The lot has a width of 100 feet.
The project is described in the filing as: proposed nine-story mixed-use development as per plans. Filing for 421a-foundation approval.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby and retail space. Floors two through four will each have 10 dwelling units per floor, and floors five through eight will each have nine dwelling units per floor. The ninth floor will have recreation space and a recreational terrace. The building will also have a cellar and 15 parking spaces.

The plans state the building will have 34 dwelling units. However, the floor plans only mention 16 dwelling units.
The development site spans one tax lot. The lot has a width of 64 feet.
The project is described in the filing as: proposed six-story residential development as per plans. Filing for 421a-foundation approval.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have five dwelling units. The second floor will have six dwelling units. Floors three through five will be used for parking space. The sixth floor will have five dwelling units. The roof will have recreation space. The cellar will have additional parking.
