Paul Matalon files plans for 89-unit mixed-use building in Bed-Stuy

Paul Matalon of Solomon Equities, on March 29, filed a permit application for construction of an 89-unit, 65,351-square-foot mixed-use building at 850 Lexington Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.

There have been 43 new building plans, including these plans, filed in Bed-Stuy in the previous 12 months.

The plans call for the construction of a 76-foot-tall, seven-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00704483. The development site spans multiple tax lots.

The project is described in the filing as: application to be filed herewith to erect a seven-story building with 89 dwelling units.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have 22 parking spaces, multiple recreation spaces, retail space, and one dwelling unit. Floors two through six will each have 16 dwelling units per floor. The seventh floor will have eight dwelling units with private terraces, an exercise room, and a terrace. The roof will also have a terrace. The cellar will have parking for 28 cars.
