On March 22, a permit application was filed for construction of a 351-unit, 248,012-square-foot building at 119 East 22nd Street in Flatbush, Brooklyn. J Bistricer filed the plans.
PincusCo reached out to Jacob Bistricer of Clipper Equity, but calls were not immediately returned. The property is owned by Florida-based ESL Investments following the bankruptcy of Sears.
Just one day earlier, the developer filed two permit applications for the construction of a 299-unit, 181,502-square-foot mixed-use building at 2201 Beverly Road and a 130-unit, 94,654-square-foot mixed-use building at 2359 Bedford Avenue in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Those properties are also owned by ESL Investments.
The plans call for the construction of a 74-foot-tall, seven-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00698117. The development site spans three tax lots.
The project is described in the filing as: proposed seven-story and cellar mixed-use building, 351 dwelling units.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have healthcare space and parking for 228 cars. Floors two and three will each have 65 dwelling units per floor, the fourth floor will have 108 dwelling units, the fifth floor will have 65 dwelling units, and floors six and seven will each have 24 dwelling units per floor. The fifth floor will also have recreation space.
